Greece

The following pencil sketches were made during a University of Nottingham, Department of Architecture Study Tour, between the 16th and 21st March 1976. At that time I was using hard-leaded 2H pencils, as preferred by architects for controlled and finely detailed drawings. Today with hindsight I realise that for the dark shadows, a softer HB pencil would have facilitated the rendering.
